Any help that can be offered here, whether it's the name of a simple mod that just lets a follower ride a horse (without all the extra stuff in mods like Convenient Horses ot Immersive Horses), or direciton to a tutorial to what I want to do, or whatever, is appreciated. The trouble is I can't for the life of me find a tutorial anywhere on getting followers to ride horses, every mod that I can find that allows followers to ride horses in general also adds a bunch of other crap I don't want in my game, and although I reached out to the creator of Sophia for any help, they have chosen to ignore my message. I've made a follower for my own personal use and I want them to be able to do the same or a similar thing. There is a follower mod everyone knows, Sofia, in her mod she is able to summon her horse and ride it any time the player character gets on their oen horse. I guess I could do that, AFT does allow you to summon your follower to you if they get lost. Since you can only buy one horse from each stable, that would mean I'd have to buy a horse, ride it to another stable, then buy another one for my follower. Also if I might be so bold, I think while on horseback, male followers should take the 'front seat' over female PCs or it might just look plain odd. Ok, so I have a mod (Amazing Follower Tweaks) that lets followers ride a horse.
That being said, I have a decent understanding of the Creation Kit in general. The follower AI is already awful enough without adding mounts to them, so I think think is a much needed mod. I'm a relatively new mod creator, for Skyrim SE, and while I've made a good amount of mods for Oldrim I never really messed around with custom textures or scripts.
